Job description
This specialist contractor are currently engaged in the delivery of a complex rail upgrade project and due to an increase work in other areas of the business they have identified an urgent requirement for Safety Advisor to work on a long term contract basis to be involved in the delivery of that project.
Reporting to the state manager for Health and Safety the position will involve implementing compliance in all areas of WHS Management in order to develop a safe workplace culture across the workforce. You will be responsible for leading and implementing safety practices on site and support planning, develop safety plans and environmental management systems. In addition to this you will be responsible for safety audits, review work instructions, develop SWMS and conduct Hazardous Materials & Dangerous Goods Registers.
The role is a 3 month contract position and are looking for experienced Safety professionals from a Rail Construction environment. Applicants must be available to start at short notice and have a valid RISI ticket.
