This organisation is a leading national civil contractor who have an emphasis on delivering projects within the Rail corridor. They currently have a large pipeline of works at critical stages of construction and are currently looking for an experienced rail safety adviser to provide site based safety support a number of small scale civil infrastructures upgrade in the rail corridor. 

The primary purpose of the role will involve providing site safety supervision on rail infrastructure projects including Formation repairs, Ballast replacement, level crossing upgrades and Flood repairs. You will be also expected to produce work health and safety management plans, provide proactive safety advice to site management and engineering staff and implement and maintain a safety management system focusing on contractor management.

The role is a short term contract so will suit a Rail Safety professional who is an independent consultant or between major projects. As of the short term nature of the role applicants should possess a valid up to date SARC and be willing to travel across QLD Rail network
