Summary
CGC Recruitment are working in collaboration with a well established, privately owned commercial & industrial head contractor with an excellent reputation to recruit an experienced Project Manager to play a key role within the business.
The client have long standing relationships, a stable team with strong retention & resource all of their projects properly. Projects are diverse in size & scale, typically ranging in the $20-60m project value - commercial & industrial. With a team of over 40 people, they are financially stable and pride themselves on delivering a high quality product for their clients.
The Role - Project Manager
The role has been created due to an internal promotion, one of the Directors is currently stepping into the role, so you will have a thorough handover, with a strong senior leadership team above, with hands on Directors & an experienced site delivery team.

The Role - Project Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Manage projects from pre-construction through to delivery and close-out
- Drive project planning, procurement, and programming activities
- Oversee cost control, forecasting, and progress claims
- Lead client and consultant meetings with a solutions-focused approach
- Ensure all safety, quality, and compliance objectives are achieved
- Support and mentor Site Managers, Contract Administrators, and Engineers
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within the WA commercial building sector
- Strong technical understanding of D&C and lump sum contracts
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain strong client relationships
- Excellent commercial acumen and leadership skills
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Construction Management or similar
- Strong leadership and supportive management culture
- Well-resourced, stable builder with long-term repeat clients

- Salary up to $220K + Super + Vehicle Allowance (negotiable based on experience)
