Job description

Our client are a Mid Tier Civil Contractor who are now have a proven reputation of delivering complex projects to the value of $25ml both nationally across Australia. They are an Australian owned company who pride themselves on quality delivery outcomes and a working culture unrivaled similar size businesses.

They are a growing presence in Western Australia and have recently been awarded a package of works on the construction a tailings dam wall lift for one of their major clients in the mining space. As of restrictions site mobilization of internal staff, due to the current pandemic they have identified an urgent need for an experienced local based Project Manager to assist in the delivery of the project.

As Project Manager you will lead a team of 15-20 staff and have full project responsibility which will include  development and control of budgets, reporting of project progress, technical and delivery strategies, risk, project schedules, deliverables, commercial and procurement arrangements. The project is a Tailings Dam Lift with cope of works including bulk earthworks, removal of services, culvert installation and final trim.

The position is a contract role for an initial 4 month period and we are open to both a fixed term salary or daily rate basis. We are looking to speak to experienced Project Managers with Bulk Earthworks experience preferably for a Tier 2 Civil Contractor who is willing to work on a 14/7 FIFO roster from Perth.

This role is an immediate start so applicants should be willing to fly out to site ASAP. As of the nature of the current climate all applicant must be currently based in Western Australia.
