Civil Project Manager – Albany, Regional WA
 
We have an exciting opportunity with a growing Civil Construction company who possess strong a reputation for planning, managing and delivering a wide scope of civil and profiling projects, for clients that include State Government agencies and notable private sector contractors. With over 20 years of trading history the company specialises in providing complete civil works and infrastructure solutions across both regional and metropolitan road networks throughout WA.
 
A true one-stop-shop for their clients, they have internal divisions that deliver civil construction, stabilising, asphalting and traffic control services. Typical projects range in value up to $30m and include road construction, road maintenance, underground infrastructure, earthmoving, signage and line marking.
 
They now have an exciting opportunity for a Civil Project Manager to join their regional team based out of Albany. This is a residential role and comes with a generous relocation package for candidates already not living in the area. Our client is keen to speak to hands-on Project Managers who are commercially aware and keen to join a well-established team in the delivery of transport infrastructure projects in a timely and cost-effective manner.
 
Duties:

• Planning & scheduling internal resources and subcontractors.
• Delivering projects in line with the companies standard of excellence and core company values.
• Managing multiple contracts/projects simultaneously.
• Managing internal site teams and subcontractors.
• Ensuring all client/contract deliverables are met.
• Contribute to the maintenance of a zero-harm safety culture.

 
Essential candidate criteria:

• Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or similar.
• At least 5 years’ experience working in a similar role within civil construction for a main contractor.
• MRWA experience.
• Strong working knowledge of earthworks, drainage, underground services, pavement and road construction.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Strong commercial acumen.
• Ability to manage 2-3 projects simultaneously.
• High regard and compliance to all HSE policies and procedures
• Construction White Card.
• Drivers Licence (regional site-based role).
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical.
• Permanent Australian working rights.
