Summary

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Services Engineer to join a high-performing project team delivering a large-scale commercial construction project in Perth.

This role will see you working closely with Project Managers, Site Teams and subcontractors to manage and coordinate all building services packages across a complex, design-driven project.

The Role - Services Project Engineer

Reporting into the Project Manager & Snr Services Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Coordination of all building services (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic & fire)
• Managing subcontractors to ensure delivery aligns with program and quality expectations
• Reviewing design documentation and identifying buildability issues
• Driving services procurement and ensuring timely delivery of packages
• Monitoring installation works and ensuring compliance with specifications and standards
• Working closely with consultants and stakeholders to resolve technical queries
• Supporting commissioning, testing and handover processes

About You

• Degree qualified in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services preferred)
• 3–8+ years’ experience in a Services Engineer or Project Engineer role
• Experience working on commercial construction projects ($30m+)
• Strong understanding of building services coordination and sequencing
• Ability to manage subcontractors and communicate effectively across site teams
• High attention to detail with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
