Established over 50 years ago this large tier 1 builder are one of Australia's leading contractors and have one of the best reputations in the country. With endless landmark projects under their belt they are continuing to secure project after project throughout Australia and find themselves in a great position for the next 3 years.
 
They are currently delivering a landmark Marine Infrastructure project in Far North QLD and due to an internal restructure have identified a new critical requirement for a Project Engineer to join the business on a full-time basis. Your duties as Project Engineer will include; 
 
• Development, implementation and ongoing monitoring of Project Management Plans
• Construction planning, scheduling and progress monitoring
• Design constructability and compliance reviews
• Subcontract management – building, demolition, wharf construction, civil and design contracts
• Cost Forecasting and Financial Management
 
To be successful for the role of Project Engineer you will need:
  • A construction related degree
  • A minimum of 5 years experience as a Project Engineer
  • Previous Experience with a well known builder
  • Experience on projects of $30M plus
  • Stability on your CV
  • Able to work in a team
  • Good communicator
  • Able to complete cost reports
  • Be well presented as you will be dealing with the client
