This is a key role supporting the planning and delivery of complex, multi-stage civil works, with a strong pipeline of ongoing projects throughout the metro area.

About the Role:

As the Planner/Scheduler, you’ll be responsible for developing and managing detailed construction programs, coordinating timelines across multiple stakeholders, and providing critical insights that help drive successful project delivery.
You’ll work closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure timeframes are realistic, achievable, and aligned with client and contract requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
  • Monitor and track project progress across multiple stages of subdivision works.
  • Conduct critical path analysis and risk identification.
  • Liaise with internal teams, subcontractors, and consultants to validate schedule data.
  • Provide detailed progress reporting and forecast updates to management and clients.
  • Assist with tender programs and planning input during project bids.

About You:

  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a similar planning/scheduling role within civil construction, ideally subdivisions or land development.
  • Strong knowledge of Primavera P6 (essential).
  • Solid understanding of bulk earthworks, underground services, and roadworks sequencing.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
What’s on Offer:

  • Salary package of up to $160K + Super (commensurate with experience).
  • Exposure to landmark urban development projects across WA.
  • Stable, long-term role with a growing contractor.
  • Supportive, down-to-earth team environment.
