CGC Recruitment are working in partnership with a well established, Victorian based Mechanical Contractor who have long standing relationships with a number of leading builders throughout Melbourne.

Off the back of these relationships they currently have a number of new projects awarded and are also forecasting a busy 2019. As a result of this, they are looking for an experienced Mechanical HVAC Drafter to join their team. The position will be based out of their office in South East Melbourne. 

As a Mechanical HVAC Drafter, you will be working alongside an experienced BIM Manager who is currently transitioning the office from AutoCAD to Revit, and providing extensive training and up skilling to the team. You will work on a diverse range of building projects, alongside a team of 7 other Drafters, providing support to the Project Managers and In-house Engineering team. 

As the office is transitioning across full time to Revit, there are still Drafters in house who are using Autocad on some of their projects. What our client is really looking for is an experienced Mechanical Drafter with detailed shop drawings experience locally within Australia. They are willing to train and invest in upskilling someone who wants to learn Revit or alternatively if you already have Revit / Navisworks experience it would be considered a bonus. 

This is a permanent position with a mechanical contractor that are progressive in their approach and really do invest in the training and development of their team.
