Mechanical Fitters x15 - Large Construction Project (FIFO)

CGC Recruitment is currently seeking O&G / construction experienced Mechanical Fitters for Australia's largest FIFO construction project (WA). This is an excellent opportunity to join a large-scale resources project with strong earning potential and long-term work available.

• $5,300+ gross per week

• 3:1 roster
• 10hr days (6:00am – 4:00pm)
• Major greenfield construction project
• Long-term project pipeline (2+ years)

Duties:

• Install, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment across SMP scopes.
• Work on turbines, compressors, pumps, and other rotating equipment.
• Perform flange management and flange testing to project standards.
• Carry out precision tasks including laser alignment of rotating machinery.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, isometrics, and P&IDs.
• Assist with power generation equipment installation and mechanical assemblies.
• Complete bolt‑up, torqueing, and mechanical commissioning support.
• Maintain strict WHS compliance and safe work practices on site.

 
Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter within O&G construction projects
• Turbine and compressor experience in essential
• Cert III Engineering – Mechanical 
• White Card / Construction Industry Card
• Working at Heights
• Confined Spaces 
• EWP (above 11m)
