Maintenance Fitter – Residential Role | Northam, WA
Full-Time | Monday to Friday | $100K + Super (Negotiable)
A well-established and reputable manufacturing operation located in Northam, WA is seeking an experienced and qualified Maintenance Fitter to join their team on a full-time basis. This is a residential opportunity, and applicants must either reside in or be willing to relocate to the local area.
About the Role Working within a modern fixed plant manufacturing environment, you will be responsible for conducting preventative and reactive maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring optimal performance of mechanical systems and equipment.
This is a Monday to Friday position, working 38 hours per week, offering work-life balance in a regional setting. A competitive salary circa $100K + superannuation is on offer, negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled maintenance and breakdown repairs on fixed plant machinery
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults
- Maintain accurate maintenance records
- Contribute to continuous improvement and operational efficiency
- Ensure adherence to safety and compliance standards
- Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (or equivalent)
- Proven experience in a fixed plant or manufacturing environment
- Additional high-risk work licences/tickets (e.g. EWP, Working at Heights, Confined Space) highly regarded
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- A proactive approach to safety and maintenance practices
- Must be willing to live in or relocate to Northam and be available for residential work
