Role Overview:
As a Hydraulic Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and delivery of hydraulic services for a variety of building projects. Working closely with clients, architects, and other engineering disciplines, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective implementation of hydraulic systems.
  
Key Responsibilities:
  
  • Designing hydraulic systems for building projects, including sanitary plumbing, stormwater drainage, and water supply systems.
  • Conducting site inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.
  • Collaborating with project teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions within project deadlines.
  • Providing technical advice and support to clients and project stakeholders.
  • Contributing to the development of innovative and sustainable engineering solutions.
  • Participating in internal and external design meetings and workshops.
  
Key Requirements:
  
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Hydraulic or related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in hydraulic engineering, preferably within the building services industry.
  • Proficiency in hydraulic design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant Australian standards and building codes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues and clients.
  • A proactive and innovative approach to problem-solving.
