As part of their commitment to safety and sustainability, they are seeking an experienced HSE Manager to lead their health, safety, and environmental strategy across a dynamic and evolving site.
 
About the Role
As the HSE Manager, you will be responsible for driving a proactive safety culture, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, and leading a small but capable safety team. Reporting to senior leadership, this is a high-impact role where you'll provide strategic direction and hands-on support in a fast-paced environment with multiple ongoing projects and operational challenges.
 
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement and manage HSE strategies, policies, and procedures
 
Lead and mentor a team of HSE professionals and site personnel
 
Ensure compliance with WA HSE legislation and industry standards
 
Provide guidance during facility upgrades, site improvement projects, and operational expansions
 
Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, and safety audits
 
Foster a positive safety culture across all levels of the business
 
Collaborate with operations, engineering, and project teams to embed safety into all processes
 
What You'll Bring
Diploma (minimum) in Work Health & Safety or related field
 
Minimum 10 years' operational HSE experience, ideally in a food or FMCG or any fast paced manufacturing environment
 
Proven leadership experience in managing and developing HSE teams
 
Strong understanding of WA HSE legislation and best practices
 
Demonstrated experience working in dynamic, project-heavy environments
 
Exposure to facilities upgrades or greenfield/brownfield project safety management is highly desirable
 
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
