A newly created role has become available to work with an international organisation on major rail infrastructure projects in Sydney. This role will play a key part in the operational aspect of these projects, being responsible for all operational activities across design approvals, variations, specifications etc to ensure the project delivers an operational train service for the client.
I am keen to speak with candidates who have;

• 10+ years’ experience with a strong railway background across operations (maintenance, signalling operations, control operations, stations, customer service, train operations)
• Experience in writing operational readiness and other reports
• Knowledge and experience working to Australian Railway Standards
• Attention to detail when listening to stakeholders (from many different disciplines)
• A degree in Engineering, Science, Railway Operations and Management or appropriate relevant subject

You will manage a team of operational modellers and therefore any modelling software experience would also be highly advantageous (Railsys/Opentrack etc).
