Have you recently graduated in and Science, Technology, Engineering, Electronics, Rail, Maths or a similar subject? Or are you a post-graduate who hasn't found the right opportunity? 
 
My client are an international consultancy who are an expert within the rail sector. What makes them different, is they have genuine hands-on experience in solving the challenges companies face in the real world of operating railways.
 
The Role
We are looking for Science, Technology, Engineering or Maths undergraduates or postgraduates. This is an exciting opportunity for an undergraduate or postgraduate to work in rail consultancy based in Sydney, Australia. 
The successful applicant will be working under the supervision of a team working on the latest technology in Rail. Experience will be gained in a number of areas including Technical Integration of signalling technology, Systems Engineering, Human Factors, as well gaining an understanding of Operational Integration and Stakeholder Management.
 
The Successful Applicant
Successful candidates will be supported by way of assistance with HECS fees, a potential grant and a one year training contract, post university.
 
About You
Suitable applicants will have/be:
Currently studying or completed a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Maths;
  • Interested in an engineering / consultancy career;
  • Good academic standing;
  • Good written and verbal communication skills;
  • Good interpersonal skills;
  • Strong work ethic and ability to think critically;
  • Able to work collaboratively as part of the wider team.
Applicants with 2-3 years experience in a completely different industry will also be considered.
