Job description
We are partnering with a highly respected Australian construction alliance delivering complex, high-security Defence and Government infrastructure projects across NSW. Due to a major project win, they are now seeking an experienced Foreman to play a key role on a flagship $100M Defence project on the south coast.
This is a rare opportunity to step onto a technically challenging, well-resourced project with strong systems, clear leadership, and a contractor known for repeat Defence work.
The Opportunity
As one of 4 Foreman, you’ll be hands-on in leading daily site operations, driving safety, productivity and quality across multiple work fronts. You’ll work closely with the Sie Manager and leadership team to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with strict Defence protocols.
We are open to chatting with local candidates or someone who is willing to travel down on a weekly basis. Accommodation is open for discussion and negotiable.

Key responsibilities include
- Leading and supervising site teams and subcontractors
- Coordinating daily works, sequencing and short-term programming
- Enforcing safety, quality and environmental standards in a secure environment
- Monitoring progress against program and resolving issues proactively
- Maintaining strong communication across site and project teams
- Proven Foreman experience on large-scale construction projects ($50M+)
- Background in Defence, Government, commercial or complex infrastructure highly regarded
- Strong leadership style with the ability to drive site performance
- Solid understanding of construction sequencing, safety systems and compliance
- Ability to operate effectively within structured, high-security environments
- $100M Defence project with long-term pipeline potential
- Tier-1 style systems within an agile, well-run delivery team
- High-quality project leadership and realistic programs
- Strong job security and career progression on future government projects down south or in Sydney.
