Job description
Our client are a Tier 2 Rail organisation working on Australia's largest Infrastructure projects.
They are currently seeking a Finance Manager experienced in Engineering or Construction projects, for an initial 8-12 week contract, with hybrid working.
The Finance Manager will be responsible for but not limited to;

The Finance Manager will be responsible for but not limited to;
- Financial reporting, preparation of group budgets and forecasts
- Month end reporting; reconciliations, balance sheet, cashflow management, P&L
- Strong tax experience – be able to move the entire tax function in-house (incl tax return) and proven ability to do monthly Tax Effect Accounting as well as FBT, BAS, etc
- Oversee the payroll, AP & AR function
- Assist the Project Managers to analyse financial and project information providing support
- Carryout weekly, monthly, quarterly senior management meetings with financial reports
- Data analysis to support business growth
- Supervision of junior accounts team
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- CPA qualified
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar role within an infrastructure or construction environment.
- Strong knowledge of financial principles, regulations, and best practices.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as Excel and Coins- but not essential
- Leadership and team management experience
- Detail-oriented and committed to accuracy and compliance
