The Company
Small custom home builder who build luxury homes in the Hills area, seeking go to admin support/ EA to be the second hand of the business. The role will be based out of their new Bondi Beach office

Primary Objective:

You will be working closely with the experienced director and will exposed to all aspects of the residential construction process. You will be responsible for preparing the tenders, effectively putting together scope work packages and assist with source sub-contractorsupplier quotes and prices, and communication with new clients after our lead generation. You will be a crucial member of the team working towards the further growth of the company.
Candidates will be required to:
  • Minimum 5 years experience of construction in Australia
  • To undertake due diligence in interpreting the cost/ risk implications, allow for same in tender cost or by way of qualifications and clarifications
  • Confidence with procurement including preparing scopes of work, letting and negotiating contracts
  • Assist in management and tracking of project expenditure against budget
  • Demonstrated understanding of Principal Contractor WHS requirements (including creating and reviewing SWMS, Inductions etc)
  • Assist director with day-to-day tasks as requested
  • Solid understanding of the processes involved in Residential Construction
  • Contacting and following up on new leads, preparing the quote as discussed with the client.
  • client selection process in accordance with the contact with the assistance of the CA and Director
  • Negotiating variations/change orders   
  • Must have minimum 5 years’ experience in construction or similar role.
  • Must have experience in completing tendering of projects.
  • Must have the ability to liaise and influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • Must have strong organisational and project management skills.
  • Must have exceptional eye for detail
  • Must be able to communicate complex concepts clearly, simply and succinctly with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with PC/MAC and all MS Office suite products.
  • Qualifications – Bachelor’s degree in Construction Project Management or related field.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and remain focused under pressure.
  • Good understanding of the processes involved in Residential Construction.
  • Well-developed administrative and computer literacy skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to tailor interactions to suit different personality types.
