Brief role description: 

The waste technical advisor would work within a flexible and dynamic team to provide advice on a range of issues such as landfill design, landfill monitoring, waste classification, waste transport, waste disposal, waste processing and immobilisation, interstate waste movements, and on-line waste tracking.

The details: 

Duration: 9 months

$59.87 P/h + Super 

35 hour per week 

The candidate: 

- Does not have to be from a waste management background

- Environmental background 

- Fundamentally have the ability to research and plan out what is best for various hazardous wastes

- Government or consultancy experience would be a must

- Understanding of waster process, the plan to get ride of it and how to get rid of it.
