Job description

My client is looking for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to work on the Burrup Seawater Supply Scheme upgrade / Water Corp. The contract will have an estimated duration of 2 months.

This role requires a proven track record working with Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractors and the ability to manage crews, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.


Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate electrical works, labour, and subcontractors on site
  • Ensure all activities meet safety, quality, and environmental standards
  • Interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and project plans
  • Liaise with clients, inspectors, and other stakeholders to resolve issues promptly
  • Plan and schedule daily works to meet project deadlines and milestones
  • Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of electrical installations
  • Maintain accurate site records, reports, and compliance documentation

Skills & Experience Required
  • Electrical trade qualification (WA Electrical Licence)
  • 5 years experience as an Electrical Supervisor on large-scale projects
  • Previous employment with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor (essential)
  • Managed electrical reticulation/installation of underground cables, and transformers
  • LV or HV Electrician background - Preferably RTIO or BHP NPI/Camp works experience
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and compliance requirements
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Strong focus on safety and quality control
