Our client is one of Australia’s largest privately-owned construction companies who turn over in excess of $900M and have a combined workforce of over 400 people that deliver works within federal, state and local governments as well as private institutions and blue-chip corporates. 

With a strong portfolio that includes educational, retail and health projects this builder will enjoy a busy pipeline for the 21/22 FY

The Position
  
Working closely with the Project Manager and Construction Manager from project award you will be involved in the early planning, procurement then go on to administer the head and subcontracts. On site you work closely with your Foreman and site team to help manage financial and contractual issues to ensuing the project is delivered to client’s specification.
  
You will work on site helping to delivery a $60M D & C commercial project that has just kicked off. This is a permanent role as the business is looking to further increase their footprint in the local ACT region to work across projects locally and in close regional areas
  
You will be paid in line with current market trends ($140K - $150K and benefit from working with a hand-picked team on an interesting project

Background / Experience
  • Degree Background in construction management or engineering
  • Experience working within the mid tier market on project in excess of $30M
  • Ability to build good rapport with project stakeholders and work cohesively in a team environment
  • Strong technical, planning and financial experience 
  • Above average administration skills with a keen eye for managing budgets and variations
  • Good safety & company system management skills
  • Above average computer literacy
