Job description

Due to an increase in workload an immediate opportunity has been created for an experienced Contracts Administrator to work with a Tier 1 contractor to work on $20ml Civil/Building Upgrade project here in Brisbane. 

Reprting directly to the Commercial Manager this site based role will mainly involve will be putting together procurement packages to subcontractor but will also involve sub-contract management, contract negotiation and assessing progress claims and variations. .
 
We are looking to speaking with experienced Contracts Administrators with a procurement background who have experience working on large scale infrastructure or building projects preferably within a rail environment. You will have an engineering or quantity surveying background and will be comfortable negotiating large packages with a range of suppliers.
 
The role will report directly to the commercial manager and will play a key role in the successful delivery of contractual aspects of the project.

The role is an immediate requirement for a 2 month period but the project has over 18 months left so based on performance and project wins in other areas of the business the role has a strong potential to be extended or become a full time role.
