Job description

Our client is Australia's largest public transport infrastructure project and they are currently seeking a Senior Manager Interface, Coordination & Governance experienced in Master Planning and Urban Precinct planning for a 12 month contract.

The primary purpose of the role is to lead the management of complex interfaces between Sydney Metro station and precinct works and the station’s adjoining major projects and landowners.  The role will also coordinate Sydney Metro’s critical activities and stakeholder and governance functions required to support the planning and scoping of station and precinct development opportunities at a project precinct site.
  
Key accountabilities
  • Live the NSW Public Sector and organisational values to achieve outstanding outcomes for the organisation and customers
  • Coordinate and maintain effective and collaborative relationships with government agencies, major infrastructure projects and adjoining landowners to develop partnerships and ensure consistency and alignment with existing projects and planning work
  • Coordinate interfaces and agreements with relevant stakeholders to ensure management of all interfaces for the project and resolution of issues
  • Coordinate scoping and costing of the project’s enabling works to enable verification and validation against specified requirements
  • Oversee Sydney Metro’s program and key deliverables for the planning and development of the Precinct and ensure alignment with overall project program and milestones
  • Coordinate timely and effective progression of key workstream activities to scope potential integrated station and precinct development, including critical enabling
  • Support the establishment and maintenance of effective governance, cost and project management in coordination with the Project’s Project Management Office
  • Oversee timely preparation of government submissions for precinct / integrated station development
  • Develop and maintain effective interface agreements and stakeholder relationships with key agencies and major project delivery offices

Key Knowledge and Experience
  • Extensive experience in planning, development and interface management associated with major transport, urban development or infrastructure projects.
  • Up to date knowledge of property development and planning issues and trends and the NSW Government's overall transport, place and land use planning objectives.
