Job description

Our client is a well-established Project Management consultancy operating across VIC and NSW, with a good track record of delivering complex, high-profile projects for leading Data Centre owner-operators and developers alike. With a healthy and growing pipeline of work in Victoria,  they are now looking to expand their Melbourne-based team (6) by onboarding a mid-Senior level client-side Project Manager.

This person will play a key role in the delivery of new build, expansion and fit-out projects within mission-critical environments, alongside commercial and residential developments across the CBD and surrounding areas. This role offers the opportunity to work client-side on some of the most significant projects in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • End-to-end project management of data centre builds, expansions, and fit outs — from inception through delivery and handover for key clients
  • Managing project budgets, programmes, procurement, risk, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to high-profile owner-operators, ensuring their objectives are met with technical rigour and commercial awareness.
  • Working autonomously within a supportive and growing VIC team, with close collaboration across the broader NSW and national business.
  • Reporting to the Director of Project Management
About You
  • 5–10 years’ proven experience in project management within the Data Centre, mission-critical, or complex infrastructure sectors would be highly desirable
  • Degree in Engineering (mechanical, electrical, civil, or related), or Construction Management with strong technical knowledge of critical infrastructure environments
  • Prior client-side PM consultancy and/or contractor-side delivery experience highly desirable.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to operate autonomously and drive outcomes in complex projects.
  • Must hold Australian citizenship.
