CGC have recently partnered with a Mid-Tier Australian owned Civil Contractor who focus on the delivery of Civil, Building and Concrete Construction works. They have long standing relationships with key clients and are growing rapidly on the Eastern Seaboard.

As of such they have identified the need for an experienced Civil Estimator to price and tender for works $200k-5ml working out of their new Brisbane offices. The role will involve working directly alongside Senior Management and responsibilities will include:

Duties will include but not limited to:

• Estimating of tenders using first principles of estimating
• Identify cost risks and opportunities with various tender submissions Leading the tender, offer & quotation creation and submission process
• Preparation and production of project costings
• Present and discuss costings with General Manager
• Post tender negotiations and contract review
• Sourcing supplier and sub-contractor quotes and availability
• Liaising with clients, consultants, sub-contractors, suppliers & stakeholders
• Calculation and production of work claims
• Develop a programme of works
• Budget tracking of each project inclusive of sub-contractors, materials, labour & plant and production of reports

Requirements:

• Civil & Infrastructure experience
• Engineering/QS Degree
• Local project experience 
• Pre-contracts experience 
• Expert Estimating tool
