Asset Manager – Regional NSW Council (Hunter Region) – 6-12 Month Contract
Location: Hunter Region, NSW
Contract: 6-12 months (Temporary)
Rate: $75 - $85 per hour
Hours: 7 hours per day, 5 days a week
Start Date: ASAP
Work Model: Office-based initially, with potential for a hybrid model over time

About the Role

Key Responsibilities:
- Inspecting and assessing road pavements for maintenance and upgrade planning
- Managing and maintaining a pavement management system
- Developing and updating asset management plans
- Providing recommendations for long-term infrastructure sustainability
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to align asset management with council objectives
- Experience in asset management, ideally within local government or civil infrastructure
- Strong understanding of pavement management systems and road network planning
- Knowledge of asset management principles and frameworks
- Ability to work independently and contribute to long-term planning strategies
- Proficiency in GIS and asset management software (desirable)
- Competitive hourly rate ($75 - $85 per hour)
