Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Workplace Services Partner to join our client, a NSW State government agency, on a contractual basis.

  • 2month contract opportunity - with the view to extend
  • Based in Parramatta 
  • ASAP Start 
  • $40-45ph + Super 

Primary purpose of the role:
The Workplace Services Partner manages the mailroom operations and related workplace service support functions, providing a professional, responsive mail service within agreed delivery standards, operating practices and Cluster agency requirements. The role provides frontline advisory services to assist staff and visitors with mailroom inquiries and requests. 

Key accountabilities:
  • Manage the day to day operations of the mailroom and related support functions to ensure the appropriate workflow of mail, including the day to day processing and delivery of incoming and outgoing mail and correspondence, within required timeframes and delivery standards. 
  • Provide training and ongoing guidance and support to team members and departmental staff in the correct application of documented mailroom processes and procedures. 
  • Assist in the project management of mailroom operational projects to support project delivery and outcomes.
  • Work with service providers to ensure efficient service agreements are met for mailroom operations, including but not limited to stationary, mailroom photocopier supply and maintenance and courier deliveries.
  • Provide administrative support across Workplace Services, maintain and update records, registers and databases, complying with records management processes, to ensure information is accurate, stored correctly and accessible 

MUST HAVE:
  • Eligibility to work full-time in Australia 
  • The ability to work 35 hours per week, 7 hours per day  
  • MUST NOT HAVE ANY HOLIDAYS PLANNED OR BOOKED WITHIN THE NEXT 2 MONTHS
  • Previous experience is ESSENTIAL.
  • Must be confident working in a similar role
