The WHS Officer/Manager, HSEQ Manager will assist and support all aspects of safety management and will have a hands-on role in contractor onboarding and verification. Reinforcing best practises and ongoing staff training. Duties will include:

About The Role
The WHS Officer/Manager, HSEQ Manager will assist and support all aspects of safety management and will have a hands-on role in contractor onboarding and verification. Reinforcing best practises and ongoing staff training. Duties will include:
- Ensure WHS legislation and project compliance WHS Plans - Be the "go-to" person for all items safety in the organisation
- Ensure ITP’s, sign- and sign outs, toolbox talks are completed.
- Complete Monthly safety and quality audits of all sites
- Contribute to the ongoing development and implementation of key WHS strategies.
- Oversee on-site audits and ensure that all tools and equipment are satisfactory and safe for use.
- Provide advice and instruction on a variety of safety-related topics/projects, such as noise levels and machinery use.
- Develop and implement training for all employees.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience as a WHS Officer or exposure to Safety / WHS in the workplace
- Proven experience of working with a construction business with experience of attending construction sites
- Certificate level (IV) qualifications in WHS & White Card
- A good working knowledge of the WHS Act and relevant standards
- Exceptional written and spoken English
- Drivers Licence
