Site Manager - $30M Apartment Build, Northern Suburbs

The company
Our client is a leading Queensland builder renowned for delivering exceptional residential and commercial construction projects. Their projects range from $5M to $40M and structure their projects as a Tier 2 builder.

The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Manager to join the team on a $30 million apartment project in the northern suburbs of Brisbane. You will be responsible for the overall day-to-day running of the construction site, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing all aspects of site operations, including construction scheduling, quality control, safety, and budget management
• Liaising effectively with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant building codes and regulations
• Managing a team of construction personnel and subcontractors
• Identifying and resolving any construction issues promptly and efficiently
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date project documentation

Skills and experience

• Minimum 5 to 8 years' experience as a Site Manager in the construction industry
• A trade background
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality construction projects on time and within budget
• Previous experience delivering projects of $15M plus
• Previous apartment experience is preferred
• Excellent understanding of construction methodologies, building codes, and safety regulations
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Experience in stakeholder management
