Job description

CGC are recruiting an experienced Site Administrator to start immediately on a large rail project in Milton Brisbane. This is with a reputable tier 1 contractor. The role is an ongoing contract so there are opportunities for longer term work.
We are seeking someone who has already worked in admin in construction on projects and understand the pace and requirements.

What is required:  
  • Preparation/ drafting of payment schedule’s as per contractors applications for payment.
  • Experience in reviewing and administering contracts.
  • Experience in managing multiple contracts through the payment process.
  • Able to Identify cost and efficiency savings where achievable.
  • Knowledge of security of payments.
  • Experience interacting and dealing with subcontractors.
  • Experience in JDE (if possible) or any finance accounting system.
  • Experience with dealing with construction teams throughout the payment process.
  • Experience in managing the contracts within the finance system.
  • Accruing monthly payment claims.
  • Working under pressure in order to meet project deadlines.
