Job description

Our client are a rail contractor who have recently been awarded a number of major infrastructure projects and are in urgent need of specialist contract staff to assist in the delivery of projects to ensure deadlines, quality and commercials are met. They have identified an urgent need for a Senior Project Engineer to set up systems and processes to prepare for delivery of a recently awarded rail station upgrade project.

Reporting into Senior Management you will be responsible on a day to day basis for reviewing design, developing construction management plans and engaging early works contractors . In addition to this you will be responsible for preparation of project management documentation and managing of work-site OH&S.

This role is a 2 month contract to the duration of the project so applicants should be available to both interview and start immediately. We are keen to speak to Senior Engineers/Project Manager with 6-10 years experience in Rail Sector with a valid RISI ticket to work in the rail corridor. Prior experience in the delivery of a station upgrade projects will be a strong advantage.
