Job description
Consultancy providing client-side support to major infrastructure projects. Upcoming opportunity for an experienced Senior Procurement Coordinator to join the team and work on a major infrastructure project.
Working in dynamic team the role of the Senior Procurement Coordinator is to administer multiple service provider agreements for a large scale infrastructure contract.
Key responsibilities involve:
Procurement Management experience - actively seek an understanding of government procurement guidelines and policy, and be able to advise relevant Deputy Project Directors on upcoming procurement's in a proactive, helpful and value add function
Contract Management experience - requiring detailed, diligent administrative skills, including maintaining a database, invoice processing, and following a comprehensive Procurement Management System of procedures and templates for approvals and contract administration
Additional responsibilities :
- Establish new contracts using a tender process
- Lease with relevant stakeholders & deputy project directors
- Management of variations of existing contracts
- Manage invoice payments to necessary time frames
- Work alongside the Deputy project directors involved in forecast expenditure and manage budgets
Requirements:
- At least 5 years experience in Contracts Management/Procurement Management
- Proven ability to manage multiple contracts
- Experience on major infrastructure projects
- Ideally candidate would have government / client side experience
