Are you a highly motivated, experienced Senior Development Manager with a passion for creating exceptional retirement living communities? There is an excellent opportunity to join our close-knit team. As a Senior Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the master planning and rezoning of our retirement living communities to provide seniors with an enriched living experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the development of retirement living projects, from conception to completion, ensuring they align with our mission and values.
  • Oversee the master planning process for new retirement living communities, including site selection, design, and regulatory approvals.
  • Spearhead rezoning efforts, working closely with local authorities and stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial sustainability while maintaining the highest standards of care.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure the highest quality design and construction.
  • Foster positive relationships with community partners, residents, and donors to support our mission.
  • Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to drive innovation and excellence in our projects.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Urban Planning, Real Estate, Business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in development management, with a focus on retirement living or senior housing.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading master planning and rezoning efforts.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience in budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities to build partnerships and navigate complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Passion for and commitment to our organization's mission and values.
  • Knowledge of local and state regulations related to retirement living and senior housing.
