CGC Recruitment is a specialist recruiter in the construction, engineering, property and design space.

The Company:
This leading tier 1 civil contractor have a requirement for a submissions coordinator to join their head office in North Sydney in their Building team. 
This role is permanent full time and allows 1-2 days working from home, however in time where deadlines are due there may be longer contact hours.
The role will suit someone who has worked for a large infrastructure or construction company in a similar role.

Advanced InDesign not essential but basic knowledge is preferable. The role will mostly be using Word for submissions. 

You will be sitting in their building and pre-contracts team working across very large bids that will be quite time consuming so an interest in this would be beneficial.

$130-140k Package (salary based on experience). 

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Compile various components of EOI and tender submissions
  • Liaise with internal departments for their submission input
  • Source and update standard content for submissions
  • Assist in the editing and proofing of documents prior to final review
  • Work closely with the Graphic Designer in formatting bid content and production 
  • Work on multiple bids with competing deadlines
  • Maintains and seeks to improve the high quality of our submissions
  • Assist in the maintenance of the submission’s library
  • Prepare marketing material
Requirements:
  • Previous and recent submission experience within the Construction Industry in building or similar 
  • 4+ years’ experience in coordinating submissions
  • Proven experience working effectively in a high pressure, deadline environment
  • Intermediate MS Word skills
  • Experience in InDesign (preferred not essential) 
  • Excellent administration and communication skills
  • Sound problem solving
  • Ability to work in a large team environment across multiple construction markets
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Good time management and ability to set priorities and work under pressure
  • Strong personality to be able to chase deadlines and work with different personalities
