Safety Advisor - Temporary Contract
Location: West of Melbourne CBD

About the Role:
We are currently seeking an experienced Safety Advisor to join our clients team on a temporary basis for up to 8 weeks. The role will be based west of Melbourne CBD on a waste water treatment facility project. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading principal contractor in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain the project's Safety Management System
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Provide advice and support to site personnel on safety matters
• Investigate incidents and near misses, and implement corrective actions
• Conduct safety inductions and training sessions as required

Requirements:

• Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of relevant safety legislation and standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
