Job description

Our client are a state government organisation within the Transport sector who are in urgent need for an experienced Reporting Officer to work within a PMO environment on a long term contract basis.

The primary purpose of the role is to lead the readiness reporting function for the Directorate which encompasses initial scoping of reporting requirements, development of fit-for-purpose reports and ongoing support. This role may also be required to support ad-hoc reporting as required by the directorate. 

The position will involve engaging internal stakeholders to gather requirements to monitor organisational readiness for delivery of major programs and develop reports that support and meet the needs of each program. This may include schedule driven reporting and other forms of monitoring the progress of program deliverables.

You will be expected to build excellent working relationships with key stakeholders across a diverse environment to obtain the necessary reporting information, as well as effectively managing competing demands and priorities in a time critical environment,ensuring the accuracy of all reports and the ongoing integrity of datasets.
