Job description

Our client are a major Top Tier Organisation who specialise in the design and delivery of complex infrastructure project. This organisation is currently at the forefront of the current infrastructure boom in NSW and due to the amount of projects currently in delivery and solid pipeline of future works, internal troops are stretched in regards to construction resources. As of such they are currently looking for specialist contract staff to assist in both the delivery of projects and tender for upcoming work.

An upcoming requirement has been identified for a Senior Planner to work on a short term contract basis to support the tender of complex brownfield rail upgrade in Sydney. The role will be responsible for for interpreting and understanding the scope of works, liaising with engineers, management and consultants to define a program to deliver the works. Scope will involve the upgrade of track, civils, HV, OHW as well as the re-modeling of a signalling system.

We are looking to engage someone as a consultation from the first week of June for a 12 week initial period however scope of work is likely to extend dependent on outcome of the tender. We are actively looking to speak to experienced planning consultants who have a proven background on the delivery of rail systems projects in a brownfield environment as well as excellent stakeholder interface skills.
