  • The company

    We are currently working in partnership with a well-established builder that operate nationally. With over 400 staff between the states of NSW, VIC & QLD, they have already secured a turnover of over $800M for the calendar year of 2023 . They have a diverse portfolio of works including warehouse, hospitals, commercial buildings and remedial projects.

     The Position

    This role is for 12 months as a Contract Administrator on various remedial projects that value from $10-$50m. You will be based in their office near the city.
Duties and responsibilities of a Contract Administrator are:
  • Support the project team administrator contracts throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Assisting with all aspects of project establishment, procurement, delivery, commissioning and handover.
  • Assists in the preparation, review, and administration of contractual proposals relating to trades packages
  • Strong focus on managing variations and monthly payments
  • Assist management and tracking of project expenditure against budget
  • Help administer the head contract in conjunction with the Project Manager

Key requirements
  • Construction related degree
  • Experience working with a head contractor on remedial, fit out or new build excess of $10m
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Ability to deal with multiple stakeholders across the project which included reporting to the client
