Project Manager - Civil and Remediation
 
CGC Recruitment are in partnership with a leading environmentally focussed Australian main contractor who are currently undergoing a period of sustained growth. The business specialises in civil construction and remediation projects work heavily in the defence, mining and resources sectors nationwide. Typical projects are valued in the range of $10m - $100m and include bulk / detailed earthworks, piling, civil infrastructure, soil remediation etc.
 
They are now actively seeking a Project Manager to lead a $40m bulk earthworks project in Port Hedland. The project is now at the procurement phase and they are keen to speak to Project Managers or aspiring Senior Project Engineers with experience working on bulk earthworks projects for BHP. This is a site-based opportunity working on a 10:4 FIFO rosters with 20% site uplift.

Candidate Criteria:
 
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental engineering.
  • 8+ years of civil construction or remediation experience.
  • Heavy civil construction experience (bulk earthworks).
  • BHP experience (desirable).
  • Experience managing projects valued over $10m.
  • Contract and budget management experience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office & Project
  • Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, design standards, and construction techniques.
  • Ability to work on a 10:4 FIFO roster.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • MUST HAVE FULL AUSTRALIAN WORKING RIGHTS
  • MUST HAVE AUSTRALIAN MAIN CONTRACTOR EXPERIENCE
