Job description
The Company:
A builder established over 10 years ago have seen consistent and sustained growth both in terms of project size and complexity, its due to this growth / 2 new project wins they are in need of a Project Manager to join their team.
As a business and team, they pride themselves in being able to deliver complex and challenging projects other builders steer away from. They have strong engineering and buildability knowledge driven from top and can offer solutions to projects others may not.
Strong culture is spoken about but having known this builder since inception I can safety say they truly have a team environment and offer excellent support throughout the business and in the individual teams.
Projects:
The sectors they are currently involved in are commercial, education, leisure, the arts and they have a history of delivering Heritage projects. They have recently picked up some key projects in Sydney and they are in need of an experience Project Manager to deliver either a $35m pool or a $40m school projects both on the lower North Shore. (you would only manage one project at a time)
The business currently operates with over 40 people and deliver projects up to $50m, all in the Sydney metro area.
About you:
The successful candidate will come from a tier 2/3 background and have had a stable career history to date. Although this "builder of choice" is not yet a tier 2 builder they will be soon as they continue to grow year on year, it’s an exciting time to be joining the business and deliver a new project from scratch.

- Have proven experience as a Project Manager
- Experience on projects of $10m plus
- Have worked with a known mid-tier builder
- Come from a degree or a site background
- Must have excellent client relationship skills
- Strong design management skills
- Able to work in a team
- Lead from the front
