The Company
Our client is a market leading tailings and water & waste management consultancy, with a solid reputation, offering an opportunity for an experienced Principal Water Engineer to apply their skills and knowledge to a range of projects and to develop the water team even further
The role
This role would suit a Principal Water Engineer with a minimum of 10-15 years’ experience, who has had exposure to a diversity of water & wastewater projects / tailings. Most recently the water team has been supporting other areas of the business, the intent for this position is to develop the water team even further through mentoring and technical review.
You’ll initially be managing a team of 4 which is broken down to 2 x Senior Engineers and 2 x Junior Engineer, with a large chunk of time being on mentoring & supporting this team.

- A strong background in Water Engineer, preferable within mining / tailings / waste management
- 10 – 15 years within a similar role as a Principal Water Engineer / Senior Water Engineer
- Ability to manage a small team, and to mentor junior engineers
- Full working rights in Australia
