This organisation are a well established and have an enviable reputation for being a leading infrastructure business specialising in Water Infrastructure, Road and Excavation projects to the value of $20M
Having nearly doubled there turnover in the last couple of years they have a heavy hitting GM joining there business they are looking for an Operation Manager to help continue driving the business forward. in Sydney they are continuing to secure project after and this work winning mentality looks set to continue right through 2021 and into 2022.
The Role
You will be responsible for multiple projects reporting into the General Manager, and will be joining a team of experienced Engineers who are highly respected throughout the organisation. You will have an established team working on site based projects which will consist of 3 x Project Manager, Project Engineers and Site Engineers. This position covers Sydney metro region. .
Responsibilities
In this role you can expect to be paid a lucrative salary package. In addition you will have the support of MD with genuine possibilities for career progression into a more senior role as this business goes from strength to strength.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for the financial, safety, supervision of staff and sub-contractors as well as managing the client relationship
- management and success of the NSW water division by ensuring high quality projects are delivered safely, on time and to budget
- Reporting on commercial and contractual matters in a timely manner
- An ability to lead from the front and strong at mentoring your team.
- Report directly into the Managing Director
- A bachelor in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Extensive experience in Operations Management within Civil Engineering
- A sound knowledge of contractual requirements
- Strong commercial acumen.
- Leadership role in a mid tier contractor who be highly considered.
