NSW HVAC Business Manager
Sydney
$135,000 - $150,000 Package +%Profit Share

A unique opportunity has become available for a experienced HVAC professional with significant experience across the HVAC Service industry as well as experience within the construction side.

The role is with a well established Fire Services business that are expanding their services by developing a Mechanical arm to focus on HVAC within Building services. They have already done this in another state and the HVAC  team are 18 months down the line and going strong. Now they are looking for a leader to develop and grow a HVAC business in NSW.

The client in question are realistic and they intend to help the chosen individual by helping them leverage projects and contracts from their contacts in the well established Fire services business. The business itself have been around for a long time and have around 250+ staff nationally.

The long term goal is to have an established HVAC business alongside their Fire services so they can offer Fire & Mechanical package to their current client base.


The ideal candidate will present the following attributes:

· Minimum of 10 years' experience as a Service Manager or Business Development Manager

· Experience in an HVAC service environment

· Strong leadership skills particularly with respect to people, safety and client relationships

· A track record in developing the processes and systems to improve the service business and resource productivity

· Negotiation & conflict management skills

· Ability to understand and analyse financial statements, forecasts & service

· Strong interest in developing staff


The role will cover the following responsibilities:

· Provide overall planning, management and direction of a multi-technical service operations (air conditioning and combined fire) business within NSW.

· Ensure the ongoing management of existing client/customer account relationships as well as supporting the development of new business opportunities.

· Work closely with the existing fire service team/clientele to ensure common alignment and guarantee of service delivery to our customers.

· General operations management of customer account managers, service administration and technical field staff.

· Oversee all safety, staff and financial management responsibilities of the department.

· Preparation and delivery of department financial reports and forecasts.

· Developing and improving the existing processes and systems to improve business and resource productivity in a growing multi-technical service business.
