State wide government agency looking after civil infrastructure projects and assets in the Hunter and Northern regions of NSW.

About the role

Working in the structures maintenance division you will be tasked as working as a site engineer working on the delivery of bridge maintenance projects.
There will be multiple projects you will be providing technical engineering knowledge as well across the reporting and commercials of the project.
This is a 9 month initial contract role with the view of an extension.  

The position will be a mixture of site and office based in Newcastle with the flexible WFH arrangement.
Projects will be across the Hunter and Northern NSW area and any site visits will have expenses paid. 

Example projects include;

• Joint replacement
• Re-painting
• Barrier replacements
• On-ramps

Skills & experience 

Experience working on TfNSW/RMS projects is an advantage though other state authority or local council infrastructure experience is accepted.
 
Ideally you will be able to self-deliver in the following areas;

• QA, ITP's, SWMS
• Environmental
• OH&S
• Civil engineering / Structural degree
