The Company:

My client is a well-established, architectural firm that specialises in commercial, industrial, residential, retail and hospitality projects. They're a mid-sized practice and they're looking to bring on an Interior Architect with a keen sense of design.

The Candidate:

As an Interior Architect for my client, you will be responsible for: 

• Working in a team to create innovative yet functional commercial and office spaces
• Work autonomously within a team environment
• Effectively communicate with clients, consultants, suppliers and other team members
• Checking joinery detailing and liaising with suppliers for finishing selections 
• Presenting proposals to clients utilising mood and presentation moods

The Requirements:

• A tertiary qualification in Architecture or Interior Design (or equivalent discipline) 
• Experience in commercial and industrial projects - specifically office fit-outs 
• 3-4 years local post-graduate experience
• Previous interior design experience - joinery detailing, office layouts, presentation and mood boards, as well as finishes selections
• Prior knowledge and a solid understanding of relevant construction, Australian and BCA standards and regulations 
• Proficiency with Revit  
• A keen eye for detail
