Established over 40 years ago this highly respected builder who are highly regarded throughout Queensland. They have 4 offices located in QLD as well as one in NSW and are a traditional Tier 2 builder. They specialise in the commercial/health/agecare/industrial sectors and are experiencing a high volume of new projects coming through with their projects valuing anything from $5M to $70M.
The role – Contracts Administrator/Junior Project Manager
Due to these recent successful tenders they are looking for a few key people with one being a Contracts Administrator to join a team on a $30M retail project located in Ballina that is due to start construction in late August. You will be based on site with the rest of the team.
They are looking for a CA to be the lead and also cover the project as a Junior PM whilst the Project Director is looking after other projects – Great career opportunity.
What you need to be considered
To be considered for this role of Contracts Administrator you must have a completed construction degree and have a minimum of 5 to 6 years experience.
You will also:
- Worked for a similar size builder in Australia
- Worked on projects a similar size
- Have strong negotiation skills
- Have stability on your CV
- A completed Construction Management degree
- Able to work in team environment
- Be well presented and a good communicator to clients and sub-contractors
- Eager to succeed
- Able to lead a team
