- $130M Club upgrade, $80M Club under negotiation
- Stable positions with 4 years of forwarding work
- Site based position with training and mentoring into Project Management
You will be joining an established local builder who has just secured $130M club / hotel upgrade project based in Sydney’s western suburbs that will incorporate a new hotel, dining facilities and amenities. The team are a close knit, friendly group that don’t take themselves to seriously but strive to provide their clients with a quality product. You will enjoy a secure role with the project spanning 3 years and a second club under negotiation worth $80M
The Position
This position will support the Project Manager and work closely with the client. The contract is cost plus and will involve scoping and negotiating contracts with the sub contractors and working open book with the client. You will also oversee subbie payments and variations whilst from time to time help the Engineers with design management and site coordination
You will receive training and mentoring from the Project Manager and senior leaders to achieve career goals. With 4 years of forwarding work you will be offered the opportunity to progress into a Project Management role yourself. salary will depend on experience however a figure of 120K - 150K can be expected.
Ideal background
- Construction Management degree and min of 3-5 years’ experience
- Experience using cheops or jobpac
- Have strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Have the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
- Strong software knowledge
- One on one training to achieve career goals
- Secure role with project spanning 3 + yrs
- Friendly and welcoming team that work in collaboration with each other
- As the project progresses digressionary bonus will be implemented for the project team.
