Job description
The company:
- Our client is one of Sydney's premier industrial and commercial builders who constantly deliver award winning projects in the Industrial and Commercial space up to $60m.
- With some 60 staff and a turnover of $150m they are a well established and reputable builder who offer excellent culture and industry leading staff retention.
- Two divisions - Projects (small works - $5m to $15m) and Construction ($15 to $60m)
- Contract Administrator reporting to a PM and GM. Full CA responsibilities including Head contract administration, scope writing, cost reporting etc.
- This is a new role due to growth. You will be working on commercial and industrial projects up to $15m for clients like Goodman and Charterhall
- Ideally, we are looking for a Project Engineer or Contract Administrator who is fed up of the red tape and bureaucracy of a larger tier two and wants the freedom to run projects themselves and get paid a project bonus for every project delivered.
- You must have good computer skills and, have strong communication skills with the ability to work for a small busy builder under your own self esteem.
- With a number of people being with the company over 10 years staff retention is great so culture is created form the top down.
- The GM of Projects where this role sits is a down to earth and well liked long serving employee who will invest in you.
- Good social environment and great work space.
- Flat management structure with direct line to GM who will mentor and develop your skills.
- Exposure to all facets of the business. This isn’t the kind of place where you’re pegged in to a small set of the same specific tasks. You’ll have visibility and involvement with the full project lifecycle including Project management.
