About the Company

A fit out Contractor who have been established for over 10 years and now operate in QLD, NSW and VIC and have created a very good name for themselves within the fit out industry.  With a large client portfolio and multiple projects running consecutively they are continually winning work.  The company has two divisions which consists of one that purely focuses on retail and hospitality fit outs and another that focuses on commercial and health projects.  The company has a strong focus on employee well being and company culture as well as the value and experience they offer their clients.
 
About the Role – Contract Administrator

Due to seasonal demands there has been an influx in the amount of hospitality and retail projects due to commence across the business and as a result they are looking to appoint an additional Contract Administrator to assist in the delivery.  You will join an established team delivering solely refurb and fit out projects and will support the Project Manager.  Your duties will include: monitoring contract requirements, submission of progress, variation and contractual claims.  You will also be required to correspond with the head contract and subcontractors ensuring payments and variation claims are processed and administration of RFI’s.

Skills and Experience 
  • A completed Construction degree
  • Must have experience with a recognised fit out contractor/builder
  • Worked on hospitality and or retail fit out / refurbishment projects
  • Experience in sub contract claims, variations, EOT’s and cost planning
  • Able to understand contracts and determine key areas of financial risk
  • Good communicator – verbal and written
  • Hardworking, driven and motivated to succeed
  • Ability to multitask and manage more than one project at a time
