The Company:
A mid-sized, award-winning architecture practice with around 30 architects in Sydney. They are involved in highly creative and high-quality projects across a variety of project sectors including; high-end residential, mixed-use, commercial, and education. They are seeking a Communications Assistant to start immediately, to support the Comms Manager. This role will suit a graduate from courses in Graphic Design, Architecture or Interior Design and who would enjoy their quieter and conservative culture. Must have used InDesign.
Salary package: $50-60k + Super depending on experience
This role will be full time in the office 5 days a week with one of Sydney's highest performing design studios.

Purpose of the Position
- To assist in the coordination and preparation of all marketing related materials for the office
- Activities include but are not limited to awards submissions, tenders and reports; organising photo shoots; publications (magazines and books); social media campaigns and website updates; company profile development
- To assist in the preparation of EOIs, tenders and project proposals, RFIs
- To assist in the maintenance of internal and external graphic and presentation standards
- Qualification in Graphic Design, Interior Design or Architecture (essential)
Essential:
- Proficient use of Adobe Creative Suite – InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Strong writing and copy-editing skills
- Experience coordinating social media campaigns and website updates (WordPress)
- Experience preparing and organising presentations (InDesign and PowerPoint)
- High level of professionalism and accuracy
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of project and office information
- Sound experience using CAD software to prepare drawings for publication purposes (ArchiCAD and/or Microstation)
- Ability to use SketchUp
- Clear, concise and effective communication skills – written, verbal and face to face
- Ability to use own initiative and work independently
- Motivation to undertake self-directed learning and research
- Constructive problem solving and decision-making skills
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team
- Ability to be flexible and adaptive
